At Clay Cooley Hyundai of Dallas, we're excited about the Ioniq 5. It's a recent addition to the lineup and comes in multiple configurations. All-wheel-drive models come with multiple electric motors and can make up to 320 horsepower, while the other versions have rear-mounted motors and can generate 225 horsepower.

Some Ioniq 5 models have extended-range batteries. The range of this vehicle could be as high as 303 miles, and it might only take 18 minutes to go from a ten percent to an 80 percent charge when you use a DC fast charging system.

Technology makes the Ioniq 5 very convenient to drive around Arlington, TX. It can keep you updated about your remaining range and make you aware of potential safety issues. Plus, every new Ioniq 5 trim features a 12.3-inch touchscreen with integrated navigation.

Another all-electric vehicle customers can treat themselves to is the Kona Electric. This small SUV is modern and athletic and has an estimated range of 258 miles. It feels powerful and energetic, and its electric system can make 291 pound-feet of torque and 201 horsepower.

The battery can be recharged at home or a public charging station, and if you use a level 2 or 3 system, you'll be able to get going again very soon. The Kona EV has many attractive elements inside and outside its cabin, including LED daytime running lights, heated side mirrors, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Many models also come with navigation and 10.25-inch infotainment screens.

Plug-in hybrids are a good choice if you like the idea of having an electric motor but also want to get more fuel at any gas station. We're pleased to offer the Tucson Plug-In Hybrid and the Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid. The Tucson Plug-In Hybrid has an all-electric range of 33 miles, and it comes standard with 261 horsepower and all-wheel drive. It's available in two trims, which are the SEL and Limited. Both have blind-spot collision-avoidance assist and driver-assist technologies.

The 261-horsepower Santa Fe Plug-In Hybrid can travel up to 30 miles using electric power, and it, too, features all-wheel drive. Its available trims are the SEL Convenience and the Limited, and these two options have Hyundai Digital Key programs and hands-free smart liftgates.

If you like how the Tucson or Santa Fe look but don't necessarily want an electric motor, these vehicles can be configured as hybrid versions. The Tucson Hybrid can achieve up to 38 miles per gallon and delivers 226 horsepower.

The Santa Fe has that same amount of power, and it's almost as efficient; it can earn up to 36 miles per gallon as it travels around the streets. These two models have sizable cabins with plenty of legroom and standard all-wheel drive.

Some of our customers prefer to drive sedans; in this case, we recommend the Elantra Hybrid and Sonata Hybrid. The Elantra Hybrid is a budget-friendly option that can earn up to 56 miles per gallon on the highway. It can be configured with a power sunroof and leather seats, as well as heated and ventilated front seats and built-in navigation.

On a single tank of gas, the Sonata Hybrid can travel up to 54 miles. Some of its available upgrades include a heated steering wheel, a Bose sound system, and a surround-view monitor.
